Thank you for your applications!
The Goldstein Award application has closed for 2022. Look for details next fall on the application for 2023. Next year's award will be administered by the Center for Public Health Practice.
Background
The award was established in 2005 by Dr. Goldstein, then Dean of Pitt Public Health and a Professor in Environmental and Occupational Health, and his wife Russellyn Caruth, an adjunct professor in environmental and occupational health.
The Bernard D. Goldstein Award was established for students or postdoctoral fellows at the Graduate School of Public Health working in one of two areas:
- Environmental Health Disparities or
- Public Health Practice
The award is available annually alternating between those two areas and is awarded to eligible students through a competitive application process.
