Bedda L Rosario served as a Senior Biostatistician in the Center for AI, Research, and Evaluation (CARE) within IBM Watson Health.  In this role, she provided statistical expertise to support research and to provide scientific evidence for IBM Watson Health offerings in the areas of Life Sciences, Imaging, Payer, Provider, and Governmental Health and Human Services.  She also served as lead for the Life Sciences Research portfolio and was the principal investigator in multiple projects working with administrative claims data.  Prior to joining IBM, Dr. Rosario was an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Pittsburgh.  She worked on several observational and clinical trial studies. Her research endeavors focused on traumatic brain injury, trauma, insomnia, neuroepidemiology, and neuroimaging among others.  As a biostatistician, Dr. Rosario has many years of experience working in health sciences and neuroimaging fields.  She received her PhD degree in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MPH degree in Biostatistics from the University of Puerto Rico.  After completing her doctoral training, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Positron Emission Tomography Center, Department of Radiology, University of Pittsburgh.
