Dr Minster is a genetic epidemiologist who focuses on the genetics of complex traits such as body composition, obesity and healthy aging. He is particularly interested in pleiotropic relationships among complex phenotypes such as those between bone mineral density and geometry, lean muscle mass and fat mass. He is also interested in evidence of selection in population isolates and their impact on human disease.
