Dr. Bey’s research focuses on neurological pathologies, looking for the different pathways that regulate the expression of genes related to those pathologies. To achieve this, he works with mice, cells, and human models. In addition, his research focuses on bringing therapeutic approximations that could relieve the symptoms of those neurodegenerative pathologies. Understanding the different signaling pathways and gene regulation at the RNA and protein level is one of the keys to better understanding the roots of neurological disorders.
