Praveen Kumar's research interests lie in assessing the value of public health interventions and policies using decision modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis. Dr. Kumar’s current research focuses on opioid use disorder and bladder cancer. He is a member of CISNET, a modeling consortium funded by the National Cancer Institute. He earned his PhD in Health Services Research and Policy with a focus in Decision Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health.
