The project is titled “Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Implementation as HIV Prevention for Women”. This mixed method study will focus on women’s health serving providers in Pennsylvania to understand prioritization, capacity, barriers and facilitators to implement PrEP for women into PA clinic settings. Study results will identify provider and health system-level factors impacting PrEP integration into women’s health care. Ultimately, the project team aims to pinpoint strategies necessary for successful integration so that PrEP is an accessible, normalized strategy in women’s HIV prevention and sexual health decision-making.
