HPM students take home second place at Penn State University Health Care Management Case Competition

Nolan Cianci (HPM ’21), Mara Menk (HPM ’22), and Devin Strynkowski (HPM ’21), coached by MPH program director and HPM faculty member Elizabeth Van Nostrand, placed 2nd in the Penn State University Health Care Management Case Competition in October 2019. Dan Meehan (HPM ’21) acted as a student observer. The students were competing against 16 other teams and tasked with presenting an innovative but realistic solution to increase Geisinger Pharmacy Enterprise’s customer capture rate at Caresite pharmacies. Students were given just 16 hours to prepare their case and only 15 minutes to present to the judges. Congratulations to these HPM students for showing remarkable skill under such a tight deadline!
