Pitt Public Health students, faculty and alumni have a big presence each year at the annual APHA Annual Meeting & Expo, the largest and most influential annual gathering of public health professionals coming to present, learn and find inspiration. Thousands of public health professionals come together to learn, network and advance their careers.

- Dean's Day — Graduate Student Research Presentations

Since 1999, Dean’s Day—Pitt Public Health’s annual showcase of student research—has hosted poster sessions during which students present their work to the multidisciplinary Pitt Public Health community.
To participate, students must prepare and submit an abstract. All students who submit abstracts give poster presentations. All currently matriculated Pitt Public Health students are eligible to compete, with the exception of the previous year’s first place master’s and doctoral winners.
- Graduation Ceremony

The annual Pitt Public Health Graduation Ceremony is held at the end of the spring term. The next event will honor graduates from June, August, and December of 2023 and April of 2024 on April 26 at the Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland.
