Thousands of public health professionals come together to learn, network and advance their careers.
If you'll be participating this fall, be sure to touch base with your Pitt colleagues who will be presenting. Or, if you're unable to attend, stay up on what's happening via social media.

- National Public Health Week
Since 1995, when the first full week of April was declared National Public Health Week (NPHW), communities across the United States have observed the time as an opportunity to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving the public’s health. It’s a time to unite around critical issues and focus our collective energy on the singular goal of helping people live longer, happier, healthier lives. Find out more at www.nphw.org.
Pitt Public Health joins APHA in observing National Public Health Week 2022 and the growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation. We’re celebrating the power of prevention, advocating for healthy and fair policies, sharing strategies for successful partnerships and championing the role of a strong public health system.

- Dean's Day — Graduate Student Research Presentations
Since 1999, Dean’s Day—Pitt Public Health’s annual showcase of student research—has hosted poster sessions during which students present their work to the multidisciplinary Pitt Public Health community.
To participate, students must prepare and submit an abstract. All students who submit abstracts give poster presentations. All currently matriculated Pitt Public Health students are eligible to compete, with the exception of the previous year’s first place master’s and doctoral winners.
- Graduation Ceremonies
We look forward to celebrating 2022-23 graduates next spring. Stay tuned for more information!
